A Puzzle of Pearls is the 22nd book in the Savannah Secrets mystery fiction series.

When Savannah resident Muriel Robertson discovers a priceless pearl necklace hidden in the trunk of an old live oak on her property, she hires the team at Magnolia Investigations to discover how it got there. The bigger question is, who is the rightful owner? With Maggie Lu’s assistance, Julia and Meredith find themselves following a cold but historic trail that leads back to the Revolutionary War and a bitter rivalry between two cousins—one a Tory loyal to the King of England and the other a colonist committed to the cause of liberty.

While Julia and Meredith accumulate clues, their investigation is complicated by an attempted break-in at the agency office and Muriel’s temperamental brother. And who is that suspicious man lurking in the back booth at the Downhome Diner? Charlene is worried. So is Julia. Can they put all the puzzle pieces together before someone gets hurt?

Beneath a Dragon Moon is the 13th book in the Savannah Secrets cozy-mystery series.

When Savannah sisters Irene Crews and Bernadette Florek suspect that their hot-tempered father played a role in a fellow army veteran’s death, they hire Magnolia Investigations to find out the truth. A couple of photos, some rare coins, and a set of military ID tags are all the clues our sleuths have to help them figure out what really happened to Conway Fite. The mystery only intensifies when Meredith and Julia find no trace of Conway. A man can’t simply disappear into thin air. Or can he?

With the help of their dear friend Maggie Lu, Meredith and Julia find themselves following a long, cold trail that leads them back to World War II and the faraway island of Okinawa, the largest of the Ryukyuan Islands and the site of a fierce battle during the war. As Meredith accumulates more clues and more rare gold coins, she comes to realize the truth of her Grandma Gertrude’s favorite maxim: All that glitters is not gold.

Whispering Bells is the 4th book in the Savannah Secrets cozy-mystery series.

Pastor Ed Markham calls Magnolia Investigations and asks Julia Foley, along with her partner, Meredith Bellefontaine, to meet him at the estate of one of Savannah’s oldest and most beloved citizens. At first, Julia thinks he just wants help in choosing sheet music to take to Miss Dicey at her nursing-home residence.

However, upon Meredith’s and Julia’s arrival at the estate, Pastor Ed shows them an old ledger he found in a secret hiding place in the parlor. Julia’s curiosity is piqued when she reads the mysterious notations in the old ledger that dates back to the establishment of the first Savannah colony. Questions abound. Did the famed circuit preacher John Wesley really discover a treasure? If so, what was it? And what happened to it?

The mystery intensifies when someone breaks into Pastor Markham’s church and steals the ledger. Soon Julia and Meredith are attempting to solve both a historic mystery and a modern-day theft. As they narrow their list of suspects—relying on assistance from their friend Maggie Lu—Julia realizes once again that the most valuable treasures are not those that can be held in one’s hand, but felt within the heart.
